Quad Box Storage

Quad Box Box Toploader w/ Non-Slip Treads
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Quad Box designed for?
The Quad Box is a heavy-duty storage box built specifically for trading cards in toploaders and magnetic one-touch holders. Four extra-wide compartments with double sidewalls keep the structure sturdy and offer more organization for your collection. The Quad Box is the missing piece between bulk sleeve storage and graded slab storage — it is where your best raw hits live once they have been upgraded into a toploader or one-touch. Four non-slip treads are included to keep holders from sliding to the bottom of the compartment. Made in the USA from double-wall cardboard for real stacking durability. Shop the Quad Box here.
Does the Quad Box fit toploaders AND magnetic holders?
Yes, each of the four Quad Box compartments is extra-wide to accommodate both magnetic one-touch holders and toploaders in protective sleeves, standing upright. For best results, pair with Glove-Fit toploader sleeves so the toploaders themselves never scratch against each other.
What is the difference between the Quad Box and the Tough Box?
The Quad Box is sized for toploaders and magnetic one-touch holders — four extra-wide compartments for raw cards. The Tough Box is sized for PSA, BGS, SGC, CGC, and HGA graded slabs with extra-thick walls for extra protection.
How does the Quad Box compare to a BCW monster box or 5-row storage?
A BCW monster box or generic 5-row storage box is designed for bulk penny-sleeved cards — narrow rows, thin walls, and enough vertical height for sleeved singles. Toploaders and magnetic one-touches do not fit those rows properly; holders tilt, jam, or crowd against each other. The Quad Box is built the other way around: four wide rows for the rigid holder formats. You trade raw card count for proper holder storage, which is exactly what you want once cards have been upgraded. For bulk penny-sleeved cards, use our 400-count box instead. For toploaders and one-touches, the Quad Box wins on fit, wall thickness, and the included non-slip treads.
How many toploaders fit in a Quad Box?
Capacity depends on the holder mix. With standard 35PT toploaders in Glove-Fit sleeves, you can expect roughly 400 toploaders or 80 35pt magnetic holders. Shop the Quad Box here.
Can I stack Quad Boxes?
Yes. The Quad Box is built from double-wall cardboard specifically so it holds its shape under the weight of other loaded boxes. Stack Quad Boxes on shelving or flat surfaces with the heaviest at the bottom and label the ends by set, sport, or player for fast retrieval.
Where is the Quad Box made?
The Quad Box is Made in the U.S.A. from heavy-duty cardboard. Every Card Shellz storage box — 400-count, Quad Box, and Tough Box — is made in the USA.
How do the non-slip treads work?
Every Quad Box ships with four non-slip treads — one for each compartment. The treads line the floor of the compartment and grip the base of your toploaders or magnetic one-touch holders so they stop sliding down and you don't have to fish them out. Small detail, big quality-of-life upgrade. Shop the Quad Box here.
Does the Quad Box fit graded PSA, BGS, or SGC slabs?
No — use the Tough Box for graded slabs. The Quad Box compartments are sized for toploaders and magnetic one-touch holders and a slab will not sit properly in a Quad Box compartment. The Tough Box has wider and taller compartments and thicker walls built to slab dimensions. Browse all Card Shellz storage boxes.
Why the Quad Box is the Best Storage for Toploaders and Magnetic Holders
The Quad Box solves a simple problem: standard storage boxes are made for penny-sleeved cards, not toploaders or magnetic holders. Their rows are too narrow and too short. The Quad Box fixes that with four wide compartments that keep holders upright, organized, and easy to see.
It is made in the USA from heavy-duty cardboard and each box includes four non-slip treads to keep holders from sliding, and the double-wall construction is strong enough to stack.
This is for collectors who have moved beyond bulk storage and need a real place for toploaded rares, alt arts, special illustration rares, and one-touch hits. Pair it with a 400-count box for penny sleeves and a Tough Box for slabs, and you have the full storage setup.
Collector Setup: Pairing the Quad Box with Sleeves and Toploaders
The Quad Box is one part of a complete storage system.
Start with an Easy Glide penny sleeve on every card worth keeping. Then move better cards into the right holder: toploaders for everyday rigid protection, magnetic one-touches for display-worthy or frequently handled cards. If you use toploaders, add a Glove-Fit sleeve to keep the outside from getting scratched in storage.
Then store by format. Penny-sleeved bulk goes in a 400-count box. Toploaders and one-touches go in the Quad Box. Graded slabs go in the Tough Box. That gives each card type a box sized for it and keeps the collection organized and stackable.
Store everything in a cool, dry indoor space away from sunlight, attics, basements, and garages.
